Solar Philippines to Build Largest Solar Farm in Luzon Calatagan, Batangas – After pioneering the nation’s first large-scale solar rooftop projects, Solar Philippines claims a new frontier with the launch of the largest solar farm in Luzon. At the ceremonial groundbreaking of the 50 MW project in Calatagan, Batangas, attended by officials from the local and national government, Solar Philippines President Leandro Leviste marked the event as a turning point for renewable energy in Batangas, which is home to both the nation’s largest number of fossil fuel plants and various eco-tourism destinations. The ground-mounted system will comprise over 150,000 solar panels, covering over 75 hectares of land owned by the company. Once completed this year, it shall generate enough energy to power the m...

A small clip from a bigger video I have coming about the Star8 Solar powered tricycles and Jeepneys. This was my quick test drive on one of their electric trikes with solar panels on top. Driven on their private property in Las Pinas. I wasn't sure if the foot brake can be used like the one found in a normal car so I relied only on the front brakes, which is why it took a bit more effort to stop after I tugged on the accelerator :p A big thanks to Engr. Ronald V. Laurel, the managing director of Star8 here in the Philippines for his time. They're quickly rolling out solar powered electric tricycles and Jeepneys across the Philippines which are much more eco friendly and even the features inside are much better for the riders. This is all part and parcel of the LTFRB modernization pro...
Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija 26 May 2016 President Benigno S. Aquino III led the inauguration of the 10-megawatt (MW) Solar Farm Project in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, spearheaded by the First Cabanatuan Renewable Ventures Incorporated or FCRVI. Recognizing its vital role in combating climate change, President Aquino said that the 39,456 solar panels would supply renewable energy to the whole Luzon grid. The solar farm is situated in a 12-hectare land area in Cabanatuan and is expected to lessen the Philippines’ carbon emission by up to 16,500 metric tons every year. He added that this is the fifth solar project he has seen, saying that if such projects will push through in the upcoming years, it will be beneficial not only as an alternative source of energy, but for the environment ...

Following the Planets October 2015 Well it looks like our prayers have saved us from both the impending asteroid collision and the predicted Rapture. I was having a hard time figuring out just what to wear for my first Rapture. As expected Renee M has rescheduled the Rapture for October 6 or 7, 2015, which she says is Sept 23-24 on the Julian Calendar, as is the God of the Universe couldn't tell which calendar she uses. Calatagan, Batangas 16 March 2016 As a strong gesture of support in meeting the Philippines’ commitments under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change formed during the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) held in France last November 2015, President Benigno S. Aquino III inaugurated the Calatagan 63.3-megawatt (MW) Solar Farm in Batangas.
