Solar Philippines to Build Largest Solar Farm in Luzon Calatagan, Batangas – After pioneering the nation’s first large-scale solar rooftop projects, Solar Philippines claims a new frontier with the launch of the largest solar farm in Luzon. At the ceremonial groundbreaking of the 50 MW project in Calatagan, Batangas, attended by officials from the local and national government, Solar Philippines President Leandro Leviste marked the event as a turning point for renewable energy in Batangas, which is home to both the nation’s largest number of fossil fuel plants and various eco-tourism destinations. The ground-mounted system will comprise over 150,000 solar panels, covering over 75 hectares of land owned by the company. Once completed this year, it shall generate enough energy to power the m...

Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija 26 May 2016 President Benigno S. Aquino III led the inauguration of the 10-megawatt (MW) Solar Farm Project in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, spearheaded by the First Cabanatuan Renewable Ventures Incorporated or FCRVI. Recognizing its vital role in combating climate change, President Aquino said that the 39,456 solar panels would supply renewable energy to the whole Luzon grid. The solar farm is situated in a 12-hectare land area in Cabanatuan and is expected to lessen the Philippines’ carbon emission by up to 16,500 metric tons every year. He added that this is the fifth solar project he has seen, saying that if such projects will push through in the upcoming years, it will be beneficial not only as an alternative source of energy, but for the environment ...

Solar Panels Philippines Supplier http://www.solarwindenergyph.com How Solar Energy Works Why Go Solar? While a majority of the world’s current electricity supply is generated from fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas, these traditional energy sources face a number of challenges including rising prices, security concerns over dependence on imports from a limited number of countries which have significant fossil fuel supplies, and growing environmental concerns over the climate change risks associated with power generation using fossil fuels. As a result of these and other challenges facing traditional energy sources, governments, businesses and consumers are increasingly supporting the development of alternative energy sources and new technologies for electricity generation. Calatagan, Batangas 16 March 2016 As a strong gesture of support in meeting the Philippines’ commitments under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change formed during the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) held in France last November 2015, President Benigno S. Aquino III inaugurated the Calatagan 63.3-megawatt (MW) Solar Farm in Batangas. The President led the switch-on ceremony of the largest solar farm to be completed in Luzon that was developed, financed and constructed by Solar Philippines, the country’s number one solar provider and the only all-in-one solar financing and construction company. The project encompasses more than 200,000 panels on a 160-hectare property that can supply enough electricity for the entire western Batangas and can power over 100,000 households. It is par...
San Carlos Ecozone, Barangay Punao, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental 19 April 2016 President Benigno S. Aquino III led the switch-on ceremony and inauguration of the 59-megawatt (MW) San Carlos Sun Power Inc. (SacaSun) solar power plant at San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. The solar plant sits on a 75-hectare property inside the San Carlos Ecozone and is expected to deliver 82-gigawatt (GW) a year of renewable energy to the Visayas grid. This renewable energy plant is expected to help avoid 72,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. “I am certain that, as we welcome even more advances in renewables, we can minimize our reliance on fossil fuels, increase the share of renewables, all without jeopardizing the price structure,” President Aquino said in his speech. The pro...

Amazing WORK ! 1) Always scratch the sides of the bottle to create better grip to the sealant. The top part where the bottle meets the metal is the leak point in the build so use industrial strength sealant (epoxy or DOW Corning 791) on the top and bottom if possible. 2) Always put a protective cover over the bottle cap as the suns rays tend to make the original bottle cap brittle and a crack in the bottle cap will allow the water in the bottle to leak during evaporation. 3) Always RIVET the metal sheet holder on to the roof. 4) DON't USE THIN METAL ROOFING SHEETS. there will be no bite on the plastic bottle and the different expansion rates wi...
